Monika and Ushma Savla launched a fledgling textile studio about 6 or 7 years ago, focused on block printing, weaving and kantha (running stitch) embroidery. These are of beautiful coloration, high quality and contemporary patterns, luminous surface effect. They print on a textured rich tussah silk. This season’s collection, created for TOKo Santa Fe is entitled:

• Mix of geometric patterns
• 75″ long x 20″ wide
• Hand wash in cold water, hang to dry and iron (do not steam as tussah silk develops water spots when steamed)
