Beloved Beadwork is the creation of Anna Richerby, in Cape Town, South Africa. This is a woman-owned business, in existence for 20 years in South Africa. They center their business practices on assuring dignity in labor, sustainable wages, and shared rewards on investments. Each piece is handsewn by one of 20 beadwork artists. These are all contemporary designs, of imported glass Japanese beads, and developed in South Africa, drawing upon modern/geometric sculpture, while honoring the history of beadwork across South Africa.
