Chinalai Modern "Old Stock" Off-White Cotton Waistcoat

Chinalai Modern with Somporn Intaraprayong is a Thailand-US collaboration.  Somporn and Vichai Chinalai work on designs, which are then implemented (and sometimes embellished) by artisans in Thailand.  The work involves indigo-dyeing, silhouette development, and copious hand-stitching. Very spirited work!

We have a deep and enduring relationship with the Chinalai-Intaraprayong team, and have the opportunity to bring their work forward in Santa Fe.

• Woven, very “structured (stiff)” cotton vest, frog-button closure, rounded neck

• Patch pockets on front

• 26″ long, 44″ around at bust, best fits sizes 8-10
