Isabelle Gougenheim is a French-born artist, now living in the US. Her designs reflectthe small graphic details that she has observed at street level, such as shadows of a tree on the sidewalk, a wall texture in Chicago, antennas on the roof of Naples or love letters found in the flea market in Paris. Blending digital impressions and visual texture, Isabelle Gougenheim manages to revisit familiar sights and places and transform them into unique landscapes on the surface of a scarf.
Most are 85% modal (a silk-like fabric) and 15% silk. These wearable artworks have a free spirit about them. Isabelle’s accessories have been selected for inclusion in art museum gift shops such as Louvre Abu Dhabi and MCA Chicago, as well as at TOKo Santa Fe.
