Iconic Finnish brand, Marimekko, makes a dramatic come back and re-enters the TOKo scene with modern bold, oversized print themes, hewing to the stylized floral patterns and bright colors. The brand has recommitted to sustainability and durability in their fabrication. A 70-year old brand, and a dedicated fan base, Marimekko, which means “Mary’s dress” in Finnish, launched in 1951 as a printed dress brand. It expanded into home furnishings and accessories, attracting an international fan base that included Jackie Kennedy and Georgia O’Keeffe. In 2024, Marimekko launched its first denim collection.
