Marja Rak started her fashion design career 30 years ago with a vision of producing local to Finland and working sustainably. Her focus has been on developing long-lasting clothes of good quality to avoid a throwaway mentality.

“For me quality of a product is synonymous with a general quality of life. I want to work for sustainable values utilizing my competence to fight the throw-away lifestyle. It’s a question of thinking in long-term, with the well-being of both humans and the Earth in focus.”

She uses only natural materials of the highest quality; her linen is sourced from Lithuania, and is manufactured without harmful chemicals. Every garment is designed and produced in Finland.

Linen is prewashed, won’t shrink. You can wash in cold water on gentle, hang to dry, good to iron on the wrong (inside) side, or dry clean
