Japanese designer, Mika, living in Australia, comes from a graphic design background. As she transitioned to exploring jewelry making in silver, her mother asked her to find lightweight materials, so she took up creating minimalist designs with a non-toxic sponge rubber material, neoprene, and now adding her shibori shapes.
