Mittan is a Japan-based brand, founded and directed by Takeshi Mitani from Kyoto. Mitani’s commitment is to modern ethnic clothing based on the traditional folk costume, and dependent upon both natural materials (silk, cotton, hemp, wool) and natural dyes derived from plants, insects, minerals and charcoal.
