Designer Connyie Rethmann created Privatsachen (Pre-vat-sa-ken) in the early 1980’s, ahead of her time with a commitment to sustainability and mindful consumption. Her brand is created via hand-dyeing in Hamburg, using traditional techniques, and emphasize comfort, ease, femininity and delight. “Privatsachen creates feminine pieces which have an artistic organic element and a hint to the bohemian, cleverly crafted into contemporary styles.”
