Ulrike Isensee values the creative freedom and joy found in experimentation as she works in her store-front studio in Hamburg, Germany. Ulrike’s trajectory involved studying art at University, before training to become a master weaver. In the last few years, she has perfect the use of unconventional methods to join traditional and non-traditional textiles to create what she terms “body jewelry” in her lightweight scarves, made of fabric fragments, joined by thread.
