Part of our Credo:
We support organizations that bring richness to the Santa Fe Scene and in turn bring people to TOKo, like International Literary Festival, the Museum of International Folk Art and the International Folk Art Market. We also support organizations that lift up members of our greater Santa Fe community, like Girls Inc of Santa Fe, the Food Depot and both the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and the Española Animal Shelter. As a company, we also respond to cultures that are threatened such as JapanCraft 21 which seeks to revitalize Japanese traditional crafts and this season, we are adding to our mix, the Afghan Scout Relief Fund (you will learn more about that if you join us Feb 6, 2025) which seeks to extricate girls and young women to the US from the treacherous hands of the Taliban.
Especially, we support the women-led leadership of these groups. There has been a cadre of new leadership in our local organizations, and we will introduce these women to our TOKo Circle in a set of informal “Wine, Cheese & Chat” sessions at 4:30 on:
Feb 6, 2025, 4:30pm: Afghan Scout Relief Fund (New Mexico-based)
Feb 12, 4:30pm: The Food Depot’s Jill Dixon
March 13, 4:30pm: Santa Fe International Literary Festival’s Megan Mulry
April 10, 4:30pm: Girls Inc of Santa Fe’s Kim Brown
This is for the TOKo Circle and their friends! Please join us. Our number 1 question to each of our speakers: “In this moment of transition in the US and in Santa Fe, how do you anticipate navigating choppy waters?”
